Sound Design Technologies has implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) which has been certified and registered to an international Quality Standard; ISO 9001:2008. This requires us to establish, document, implement and continually improve the QMS. This includes, documenting a quality policy, a quality manual and have documented policies on control of documents, quality records, non-conformity, corrective and preventative action.

Our new product introduction (NPI) process is modelled to rapidly turn product ideas into success commercial products. Our NPI process is focused on market fit and need and is split into seven steps, each gated with appropriate representation from technical, business and project management staff.

Sound Design Technologies is registered under the Canadian CGD (Controlled Goods Directorate). Our quality objectives focus on prevention and continuous improvement. Statistical process control is implemented for all critical processes, product yield is measured, monitored and improved continually and workmanship standards exists for all stages of the product flow. We also have targets for incoming and outgoing quality levels.
