The GA3227 offers the unique benefits of Sound Design Technologies' high fidelity sound, wide bandwidth of 12 kHz and 95 dB of input dynamic range for trimmer or fully programmable digital hearing aids.

Four independent trimmer-based hearing aid controls provide flexible support for fine-tuning hearing aids to match patients' distinctive hearing correction needs while eliminating the need for complex fitting software. At the same time, GA3227 also contains intrinsic support for industry standard hearing-aid programmers such as HiPro, HiPro USB, NoaHlink, Microcard etc. enabling design of fully programmable hearing instruments.

High Power output drive capability of 138 dB SPL and support for up to 83 dB of electrical gain enables the GA3227 to be used in high-power hearing aid designs as well as mild to moderate hearing loss profiles. In addition to the above features, the GA3227 offers up to 2-channels of programmable WDRC signal processing, wideband level detection, choice of two AGC-I parametric adjustment strategies, optional peak clipping, programmable tones for memory change and low battery indicators along with three independent memory profiles which offers extreme flexibility for hearing instrument product designs.
